Water Nerd, Hafiz (E4SUS)

During this time, I really felt like drawing a piece where I could make a dynamic pose to practice perspective and I wanted the character involved to be slick and cool so I settled for my friend Hafiz’s persona since his character already had a nice cool foundation. The original design for Hafiz’s character was made by Goldie which is also my friend from the same server. I modified the design slightly to fit the aesthetic I wanted and there it is.

I’m not really used to soft shading, but it was a good practice in this piece. I do like the translucent parts of his jacket which really gave the modified design something extra. The dynamic pose translated really well however I’m sure that was because I used many references to get it right.
